Miss Mexico Wins 69th Miss Universe; Latina Contestants in Top 10

MANILA, Philippines — Mexico’s representative to the 69^th Miss Universe beauty pageant, Andrea Meza, has been crowned Miss Universe 2020 on Monday, May 17 (Philippine time) at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Meza beat 73 other women from different countries. Miss Brazil Julia Gama finished first runner-up followed by Miss Peru Janick Maceta as the second runner-up. India’s Adline Castelino was declared third runner-up while Dominican Republic’s Kimberly Perez bagged the fourth runner-up title.

Candidates from Latin America dominated the top 10 of the said beauty pageant. Here’s the full list:
