‘Festival Mexicano’ Food Promotion Event and Mexican Independence Day Celebration

The Mexican Embassy of the Philippines, or simply Embamex Filipinas, is inviting everyone to “Festival Mexicano,” a food promotion event that will run from Sept. 15 to 19. This is part of the celebration of the 211^th anniversary of the Mexican Independence and the bicentennial anniversary of its consummation.

Three Mexican restaurants will join the said promotion: El Chupacabra, Cochi Loco and A’Toda Madre.  

“Delight in the aroma and flavors of the dishes offered by three of the most popular Mexican food restaurants here in the Philippines and take advantage of their special promotions,” the Mexican embassy posted on their Facebook page Sept. 9.

On a related event, Embamex Filipinas will also be streaming “La celebración del grito de la Independencia” of Mexico through Facebook Live on Sept. 15, 6 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time).
